Description: A team based snowshoe race combined with navigation by map and compass. Go as hard, or as easy as you like, however the more checkpoints you collect the higher you'll rank. Teams of two have up to 3-hours to collect as many checkpoints as possible.

Raid the Rib takes place on the Niagara Escarpment so teams can expect lots of technical running and some interesting navigational challenges as they Raid the Rib.

Description: SCAR takes place across several municipalities in the Windsor-Essex region. Racers travel through the course to collect checkpoints over a 6 to 8 hour period.  Maps are pre-marked and racers will travel through natural areas in beautiful Carolinian habitat, which features more rare and endangered species than anywhere in Canada.  Canoe rentals are included for teams of 2 or 3 (including PFD, canoe paddles & safety equipment), but solo racers must provide their own.  Race fees include a custom designed finishers’ medal, tech tee, post-race bash, a delicious BBQ dinner, and awards ceremony with prizes for top finishers in each category.
